I am halfway through tomorrow's lecture, and I just received this email from a student:

you are an amazing teacher:) no wonder...because you plan out everything and actually care. Thanks for being such an amazing teacher.

I sent a reply thanking her - this note came at just the right time. Well, almost worth the next 2-3 hours of work that I must do for tomorrow morning.
