...get the mop, it's wet in here...

Boy yesterday was a total roller coaster ride. Only hormones can explain the waterworks I experienced.

I dealt with a crazy f**k on the bus. I cried. I sat on the bus up the hill thinking about work. I cried. I got to my office and prepared to meet with my work study student. I cried. Meeting with hostile Student #3. I cried (afterwards, thank god). I had a meeting at 2:30pm with other faculty, and realized that I hadn't had lunch yet. So afterwards on my way up the hill to grab a panini, I CRIED. Came back to office, cried while eating Panini. Something moved me while we were singing the King Singers' arrangement of Penny Lane --> more tears. Safe on the bus ride home, but a touch of tearduct leakage as I passed the western union telegram place. I DON'T KNOW WHY. Got home and K had bought me flowers and a bottle of wine. Definite reason to cry. What an adorable man. Good grief, today I'm exhausted.

Not used to being an uncontrollable leaky faucet. I didn't realize that I could get THAT stressed over work, or paninis for that matter. Western Union telegram stores? maybe.

I'm holed up at home to finish grading today to make sure that I have control of my waterworks again. and then more lab and student work tomorrow. Wahoo.
