I'm a little slow on the news uptake these past few days, and so I only absorbed the news about contaminated cat food 5-6 days AFTER it began (that's what you get for relying exclusively on CBC online for your news).

And now I've noticed that the pet food recall has just been expanded to include the food packets that we regularly feed Mizzy and Lyra. So I've been unwittingly playing russian roulette with my adorable furs (who are about to receive a modified diet)

Interestingly, I just went to a media relations training session this morning and one of the topics covered was crisis control. This particular incident was cited as an example of a poor job.

So anyway, that's the excitement of the evening - exciting enough that it trumps my last choir concert with the Mountain U choir, which I may describe later. Maybe.
