Woke up at 5am to start drinking water for today's ultrasound. ugh. Sat in the waiting room with a bunch of other intense and uncomfortable looking women...and then had the tests. Looks like those fibroids are hanging in at about the same size - all but one which might be a bit bigger. I'll meet with a specialist next week, but so far, it's all good.

Oh, and it also looks like there's no stem on the apple....so PAT becomes Patricia? In blogland, perhaps. My niece is thrilled. My sister-in-law has already started packin' up the pink clothing...next stop: barbieland. oy. I'm my niece's godmother. I'd like to have a special ceremony in which I name my brother "godcoach."

K and I remain cautious about this baby sex thing..I mean, there were certain indications but really, this just means we didn't see "IT"...still we are extremely happy that we got to see an amazingly healthy heart, kidneys, two feet, two flappin' arms, and a long, connected spine.

Okay - I've got to run. I tried to take a nap after the morning's excitement... but I am (as usual) too nervous about my talk out at Peninsula today....off I go. wish me luck.
