...baby showers approaching...

This does not mean that it is raining babies - although if you look at any global population projections, the point is arguable...

But MY meaning is that I am about to prepare for my first of two baby showers in the next two days. I KNOW that it is going to be fun. I just wish that I weren't so darned exhausted.

I've had two very full days of activities (more later), and I am going to try very hard to perk myself up. One REALLY should be cheerful when people go out of their way to throw a lovely party for you. Good thing is that I'm not faking the appreciation - I'm just trying to fake some energy!
