...seattle...

Just returned from a restful, warm, sunny weekend in Seattle. K and I booked a room with a splendid view of the space needle - we played and shopped and walked and were completely free of computers and work and stress. aaahhh. wonderful.

The minute we crossed the border into Canada, it started raining again. And when we arrived at our house we discovered another huge blue tarp draped over our top porch - and that the roofers had been here all weekend (poor kitties). There is saw dust everywhere, but they expect to be finished by tomorrow afternoon. We picked the best possible weekend to be missing.
