...very cranky...

That's pretty much it. I'm very cranky. Pissed off at the world, one might say. Oh, there are reasons for it (says a woman on the verge of nervous administration). But you know, some days I would find that these particular fires that I'm putting out are not so annoying. Today, I pity the fool who GETS IN MY WAY. Should write that on my door.

I should be remembering good things. Sit and stare into space - err, meditate - and think about good things:

1. Susi and I had a really really fun evening and morning.

2. I got the reviews on my paper back last week - perhaps the best I've ever had.

3. I have a nanny who MOPS the kitchen floor, buys the groceries, puts all the toys and the laundry away, and cooks all the food. aaaaaahhhhhhh.

There we go. The next time I need to relax, I'll just repeat the following phrase:

the nanny mops. the nanny mops. the nanny mops....
