..today:the stairs. tomorrow: Mt Everest...

My child has been bitten by the climbing bug. It all started last night when she breached the baby barriers upstairs and tried to crawl head-first down the stairs. Fortunately, Mama was there to intervene.

And then I thought, might as well teach this kid the right way to do it before she kills herself. So I painstakingly sat with her and kept twirling her around to convince her that FEET first is much more practical unless you are in an insane suicidal luge competition. She has yet to be convinced.

But she HAS been convinced that climbing is the cat's meow. I take that back. She was previously fascinated by anything cat, including meows. This is, like, WAY better.

We spent this evening climbing the stairs. And then again. And again. And AGAIN... Thinking of investing in crampons.
