...heart-melting moments...

Susi surprised us with a wonderful new word today.

She dragged her puppy, her pillow, and her quilt out of her cot, brought them into our bedroom, plopped them down in the middle of the room, and then lay down smack in the middle of her pillow. She tucked her pup under her arms and pulled the quilt up to her ears and said, "cuddle!"

K and I both got on the floor with her and obliged. And did so for all of the five to ten times that she repeated her glorious new word while sitting on the sofa downstairs. And even when she didn't say it..
