...the bloggers' quilt of comfort...

After re-reading my last entry, I realized that my writing didn't convey what I actually felt about my d-land community.

I haven't had the time to write nearly enough (to my liking) over the past two months. I've missed you all.

And then when I made myself feel vulnerable and awkward and wanting to hide under a blanket, this forum felt somewhat like the warm blanket from which I wanted comfort. I came here. And you provided some reliable words of comfort and perspective.

That's a good, good feeling. Thanks for being there!
